Engineering Assistance
Our company offers engineering assistance to hydraulic consultants, architects, developers and builders. This assistance is offered during all stages of a project and can be summarised as follows:
Stage 1 - Conceptual
Assist with water management and balancing. Based on the building NLA and population figures we can determine the following items:
- System capacity
- Water volume in
- Water volume out and evaluate the potential uses
- Determine legislative approvals required
- budget estimate
- system specification
- Tank sizing
- Spacial requirements
- Electrical and mechanical sevices requirements
Stage 2 - Committment/constructability
Once the project has committed to installing a plant we will provide the following information:
- Major equipment plant layout
- Co-ordinate other services
- Confirm if tanks are built in or supplied by WJPS
- Co-ordinate the associated hydraulic services requirements
- Start the approval process / validation / EPA / DHS etc
Stage 3 - Construction
Once the above items are completed we then move into the construction drawing (shop drawings) phase and equipment procurement phase
Stage 4 Completion
Upon completion of our plant we will commission once the building has achieved a 70% occupancy rate. The commissioning phase includes for:
- production of as constructed drawings
- Operation manual
- Staff training
- Approval finalisation
- Handover to client
- Offer a customised "service" plan to suit the clients needs
